The Rain Flo plastic mulch layer has options that make it different from that of the Reddick Plastic Mulch layer but yet also many similar options.
One of the first main differences are the spring loaded shovels on the side of the bedder which help with loosening dirt for the cover disks. Another advantage of the shovels is, that they help with keeping the machine behind the tractor on hillside farms.
Rain Flo also has a new system called Ro-Trak. This system helps keeps the plastic layer behind the tractor on hillside applications and difficult plastic laying conditions. For more information go to Rain-Flo website:http://www.rainfloirrigation.com/ourproducts_equipment.asp
The weight of the Rain-Flo machine is just slightly more than that of the Reddick layer. The Rain-Flo layer’s shipping weight is 1875 pounds approximately, once again depending on the options that you have put on the piece of equipment.
Pricing for the Rain-Flo bedder is slightly more than that of the Reddick bedder. The Rain-Flo bedder costs $4920.
